The Bold Academy

This summer, we’re bringing 24 college students and recent grads to Boulder for The Bold Academy, a transformative life experience designed to give them the perspective and skills they need to build the lives they want, from authentic relationships to meaningful work. Each student will gain years of real-world experience in 4 weeks, while realizing how their natural talents and true passions align with what the world needs. Those who attend should expect to walk away on fire, with a clear vision for their near-term future as well as a plan to make it real.

To pull this off, we’re hiring three people in the next few weeks.

Academy Director (Chief Experience Officer)
This person has gone through several programs (study abroad, trips, conferences, etc.) and understands what it takes to build a community. They’ll work with us to finalize the curriculum and put everything in place so that it’s as fulfilling and enriching as we envision. They’ll work part-time with us until the Academy starts. (Per Nathaniel’s judgement, special consideration will be given to StartingBloc fellows).

Logistics Coordinator
This person is able to trudge through hours of details and making arrangements, and feels deeply satisfied when something goes off without a hitch. They’ll work remotely (part-time) with us until the Academy starts. We’ll make sure they have enough resources at their disposal to do their job well.

Communications Coordinator
This person gets what we’re trying to do and wants to help us tell the world about it. The role will begin with supporting our push for applications, then turn to interacting with our incoming students, and involve partnerships as well. Part-time until the Academy starts.

If you think you’re a good fit for one of these roles, send us (natkoloc@gmail.com + heyamberrae@gmail.com) three sharp paragraphs saying why. Don’t just tell us all the jobs you’ve had. Tell us a true story that shows why you’re meant to do this. We’re also going to ask for a glowing reference, so keep that in mind.

Don’t delay, we’re moving fast.
