High-res workisnotajob: listen. … to yourself. as someone who tends to get so wrapped up in helping others that I forget to think of myself, what I’ve realized recently is that the more I ask myself what I want and what feels right to me, the greater I can continue to help others in bigger ways… a good friend recently recommended that I listen to how situations, experiences and ideas make me feel beyond the point of inception. I took his advice and even starting writing these feelings down as I experience them. it’s been incredibly insightful not only in terms of what really drives me over time but also in what is causing conflict and the related feelings/reactions that can help me solve it by communicating from the heart.
