I love Van Jones! His book “The Green Collar Economy” is great because it intersects social problems (incarceration, povery, racial discrimination) with economic crisis (unemployment) and environmental issues (green movement). The final product is a book that illicts feelings of solution-based thinking — turning crisis into opportunity. I think he is a progressive individual who we will be seeing more of in the future.
